The BBC news confirmed the news on its official website on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022. The Brazilian who joined the Parisians from Barcelona during the summer transfer window of 2017 has been accused of fraud and corruption in the trader fee of £222 million.

The persons involved in the situation have denied the allegations, made by investment fund DIS, which argued it was entitled to 40% of Neymar’s 2013 transfer fee when he left Brazilian club Santos.
