Roberto Firmino Speaks on His Future at Liverpool

Brazil’s forward player, Roberto Firmino has given a hint concerning his future at Liverpool Football Club.

The striker who has been linked with a move to the Serie A following his lack of playing time at Anfield Club. Firmino was asked about his future at the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Manchester City at the Community Shield.

I love this team, this city and the fans. I am here. I want to stay of course.

The manager of the club, Jurgen Klopp also confirmed in an interview leading to the game against Manchester City that, Firmino is a key part of his team and he wants him to stay at the club.

Bobby is crucial for us, the heart and soul of this team. Everything looks really good and I am absolutely fine with Firmino. For me, no doubt about his quality, so yes, he is essential for us.

Firmino’s place in the Liverpool team have suffered a lot of scare following the arrival of Diogo Jota from Wolves last season and Darwin Nunez from the Portuguese side, Benfica this transfer window.
