The Gabonese was on the bench in the La Liga 4-0 defeat against Valladolid at Camp Nou on Sunday, August 28th, 2022. According to reports from Spain, four men were seen on camera carrying firearms and iron bars according to a reported from sources in the police.

Aubameyang’s wife, Alysha Behague was also assaulted by the armed robbers as the men entered into the house of the pair through the garden. The robbery occurred when Aubameyang arrived in the early hours of Monday, August 29th, 2022.

The striker has been linked with a move back to the Premier League with Chelsea trying to sign him before the end of the transfer window.
