Diego Simeone Speaks on His Future at Atletico Madrid

The manager of Atletico Madrid Diego Simeone has spoken about his future at the club following the failure to book a spot in the next round of the UEFA Champions League.

The Argentine was speaking after the game against Bayer Leverkusen which ended in a draw. According to him, he has no intention of leaving the club anytime soon despite the current situation.

It is the hardest moment but I'm going to continue insisting on this club to get something we need, such as the Champions League.

Atletico Madrid can only finish in third place no matter the result of the final group game of the season. However, they will be joined by Barcelona, Juventus, and Sevilla in the Europa League.
