The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag has evaluated the performance of Harry Maguire in the game against West Ham United.

Maguire was part of the starting team that played against the Hammers on Sunday, October 30th, 2022. According to the Dutchman, he was excited about the performance that Maguire put in against the London team.

He was magnificent in protecting the box. He is a great player and a really good defender and we have seen how important he is for the squad. I am really happy for the team of course but also Harry Maguire as he came off the pitch with a clean sheet.

The Englishman has been under scrutiny by Manchester supporters of the club since last season because of his poor form.
