The ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup that is being hosted in Qatar has seen fantastic footballers showcase their talent to the world.

Netherlands' Cody Gakpo has been the shining light at the competition following his exploits in the three group games of the World Cup against ( Senegal, Ecuador, and Qatar). The forward player who currently plays for PSV in the Dutch League might be heading to the English Premier League.

Transfer News expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester United have met with the agent of Gakpo but there is nothing concrete from the meeting between both parties.

PSV's original plan was that he should leave in the summer but there is a possibility that he will leave during the January transfer window because of his amazing exploits at the FIFA World Cup.
