The board chairman of UBA, Tony Elumelu, has opened up on what he thinks about the popular boy group BTS that has continued to dominate the music scene.

Nothing prepared Nigerians for a throwback picture of Tony Elemelu, who is the board chairman of UBA with the popular and multiple award-winning boy group BTS. The business mogul took to his social media platform on Thursday, January 26, 2023, to shed more light on what he thinks of the group and why and how the picture was taken.

Tony Elumelu opened up that he had met and had taken the pictures with the talented group BTS in 2018 at the United Nations General Assembly.

BTS had given a speech at the General Assembly in 2018 in front of world leaders at the launch of Generation Unlimited which is an initiative according to the UN that:

will tackle the global education and training crisis currently holding back millions of young people and threatening progress and stability by focusing on three key areas of work: secondary-age education; skills for learning, employability and decent work; and empowerment.

Tony Elumelu in his post on social media revealed that the boy group is in fact one of his favourite bands. The business mogul shared the post on his Twitter and Instagram platforms.
