Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand Lead 15-Man Nominees for 2023 Premier League Hall of Fame

The English Premier League have announced 15 former players for the 2023 Hall of Fame Induction later this year.

The body confirmed that the players who are eligible for this year's Premier League Hall of Fame must have retired by January 1st, 2023. The player's Premier League career is considered in their candidacy, not their performances in other competitions during the Premier League era.

It made the announcement on its official website on Thursday, March 30th, 2023. According to reports from the Premier League, football fans will be allowed to decide which former player they want in the next Hall of fame by voting for their preferred choice.

Tony Adams, Ashley Cole, Gary Neville, Sol Campbell, Jermain Defoe, Michael Owen, Michael Carrick, Les Ferdinand, John Terry, Petr Cech Rio Ferdinand, Yaya Toure, Andrew Cole, Robbie Fowler, and Nemanja Vidic.

Who are the 2021 Inductees?

David Beckham, Dennis Bergkamp, Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry, Steven Gerrard, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard, and Alan Shearer.

Who are the 2022 Inductees?

Sergio Aguero, Didier Drogba, Vincent Kompany, Wayne Rooney, Peter Schmeichel, Paul Scholes, Patrick Vieira, and Ian Wright
