Tems And Wizkid Win Big At The iHeartRadio Awards 2023

Singers Tems and Wizkid were the only Nigerian artists to have won their respective categories at the iHeartRadio music awards 2023.

Multiple award-winning singers and performers Wizkid and Tems were once again recognized for their creativity and talent at the recently concluded international award ceremony, the iHeartRadio awards 2023.

Tems had won two different categories at the award ceremony, namely the Afrobeats artist of the year and the Hip-hop song of the year with her collaboration with Future and Drake on the grammy award-winning song 'Wait For U.'

Wizkid had also tied Tems for the Afrobeats artist of the year award, making it his only award of the night.

The success of afrobeats in recent times is something that can not be undermined; Tems had recently attended the Oscar awards 2023 and had also received a nomination for her songwriting contribution to the title track of Black Panther, sung by Rihanna.
