Premier League: Chelsea Vs Brentford; Concerns As Frank Lampard Names An Unexpected Starting Lineup

Concerns and questions have trailed Frank Lampard's starting lineup ahead of the Premier League fixture, Chelsea vs Brentford.

Ahead of an all important fixture for Frank Lampard at Stamford bridge today, Wednesday, April 26, 2023, the interim manager has named a starting line up that has left many concerned ahead of kick off at 7:45 pm West Africa Time for a deciding premier league encounter, Chelsea vs Brentford.

The Blues would be without Reece James till the end of the season with Mason Mount also out injured ahead of today's game.

Lampard has not won a single match since he took over as the interim coach of Chelsea.

Here is the starting lineup:

Chelsea: Kepa, W. Fofana, Thiago Silva, Chalobah, Azpilicueta (c), Enzo, Kovacic, Chilwell, Kante, Gallagher, Sterling

Substitutes: Mendy, Badiashile, Loftus-Cheek, Madueke, Mudryk, Pulisic, Ziyech, Aubameyang, Joao Felix.


Brentford: Raya, Pinnock, Zanka, Mee, Roerslev, Jensen, Onyeka, Janelt, Henry, Toney (c), Wissa

Substitutes: Cox, Baptiste, Hickey, Stevens, Dasilva, Damsgaard, Ghoddos, Mbeumo, Schade
