Davido has cleared the air following questions on how much the Abia State government paid him to perform at his inauguration after-party.

Renowned singer and performer David Adeleke, famously called Davido, graced the inauguration after-party of Abia State's newly elected governor, Alex Otti, with his captivating and stellar performance, which left many who had attended, etching unforgettable memories. The record-breaking singer's electrifying stage presence and musical prowess undoubtedly added an extra layer of grandeur to the historical celebration for the people of Abia State.

This had led to questions about how much the singer was paid to perform, and Davido revealed that he wasn't paid any amount to perform, mentioning that he has known the newly elected governor all his life and he is sure he would do well for the people of Abia State.

Amid curiosity surrounding Davido's performance at the inauguration after-party, questions arose on social media regarding the singer's payment for his appearance at the event. However, Davido candidly disclosed that this was something he had done for free.
