Following a controversial end to the 2022/2023 finals of the UEFA Europa League, anticipation is at its peak ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

The finals of the 2022/2023 season of the UEFA Europa League between Sevilla and AS Roma will be remembered for days to come; all eyes are, however, on the 2023/2024 season of the competitions as top sides in different leagues across Europe are set to fight for the coveted title.

The UEFA Europa League will kick off on August 10, 2023. This date is confirmed for teams that have not secured a permanent spot in the competition. It kicks off after the qualifying round of the Champions League as teams who crash out of the game would feature in the qualifying round of this competition.

When would the qualifying rounds of the Europa League be played?

Third qualifying round: 10 and 17 August 2023
Play-offs: 24 and 31 August 2023

When are the group stages of the 2023/24 Europa League season starting?

The group stages of the UEFA Europa League have been confirmed to start on September 21, 2023; UEFA, however, confirmed that the date is subject to change later on. Here are all the match dates of the competition:

Matchday 3: October 26 2023
Matchday 4: November 9 2023
Matchday 5: November 30 2023

When is the 2023/24 Europa League knockout stage?

The knockout stages of the Europa League will be played on the following dates:

Knockout round play-offs: 15 and 22 February 2024
Round of 16: 7 and 14 March 2024
Quarter-finals: 11 and 18 April 2024
Semi-finals: 2 and 9 May 2024
Final: May 22 2024

Where would the finals of the 2023/2024 Europa League Be Played?

UEFA has confirmed that the finals of the 2023/24 Europa League competition will be played at Dublin Arena in the Republic of Ireland; an official date for the fixture has not been confirmed yet.

Clubs with a slot in the third qualifying rounds of the competition are;  Olympiacos (Greece) and Slavia Prague (Czech Republic), with others coming in after crashing out of the qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
