Reece James responds to the possibility of him joining Arsenal

Chelsea's defender, Reece James has reacted to the possibility that he could join Arsenal before the end of the 2023 summer transfer window.

Reece James responded to a question that he was asked by a tweep on Twitter on Thursday, June 29, 2023. The question came hours after Kai Havertz joined Arsenal from Chelsea.

He was asked if he would say no to Arsenal if they should come calling.

"Reece James to Arsenal who says no."

James responded ''I say no.''

The right-back has been on the radar of top clubs in Europe for the past few seasons but he has always stayed committed to the Chelsea project. He recently signed a six-year deal with Chelsea in 2022, he is expected to keep him at the club at least until the summer of 2028.

James suffered a lot from injury last season which saw him spend most of the time on the touchline rather than on the pitch.
