Following the confirmation of Cole Palmer as the latest forward signing for Chelsea FC, the England international's jersey number at the club has been confirmed.

Cole Palmer is Chelsea FC's latest signing as the Blues, in an official statement, announced that the young England international has signed a long-term deal with the club from Manchester City; although fans have mixed reactions about the signing, his jersey number has been confirmed at the club.

Chelsea's statement about his signing read, "Chelsea is pleased to announce the signing of England Under-21 international Cole Palmer from Manchester City. Palmer has signed a seven-year contract – with a club option of a further year – at Stamford Bridge and will join up with Mauricio Pochettino’s squad ahead of our Premier League fixture with Nottingham Forest."

Palmer shared his thoughts about his move to the club, and he said, "I’m excited to get started and it feels great to sign. I’ve joined Chelsea because the project here sounds good and because of the platform I will have to try to showcase my talents. It is a young and hungry squad and, hopefully, we can do something special here."

The youngster would wear number 20 for Chelsea and is expected to be available for the Blues game against Nottingham Forest.
